🌳 Beer gardens
Beer gardens are a standard feature of Franconian inns and can be found at almost every inn. They range from haphazardly arranged seating to romantic spots beneath wonderfully fragrant apple trees.
🍺 Beer cellars
These drinking establishments, originally built for convenience above beer cellars, have become part of Franconian cultural heritage. You can usually bring your own food here to enjoy with a freshly tapped beer. Food is usually available too, but it tends to be simple fare – ranging from a snack platter to currywurst.
