Mengersdorf Estate

The Mengersdorf farmstead is situated in a hamlet of Mistelgau, right on the edge of the Zauberwald and not far from the Neubürg. It is run by the ‘Verein der Heimatmacher’ association, which has set itself the goal of bringing life back to the countryside – and that’s exactly what the farm feels like.

🌳 Refreshments & Beer Garden

In summer, the beer garden is open, serving cakes, snacks and hot meals. A great place to sit and relax after a walk through the woods.

🎭 Events

The estate serves as the base for the Heimatmacher Association, which organises a range of events here and in the surrounding area: an Easter market, local heritage days, concerts and cultural evenings. The Franconian Theatre Summer also makes regular appearances here. The farm can also be booked for weddings and celebrations.

🧚 Enchanted Forest & Children’s Adventure Trail

Just round the corner, the children’s adventure trail through the Enchanted Forest begins. At ten stations, children can immerse themselves in the region’s world of fairy tales and legends: the story ‘Who can find the river princess’s treasure?’ draws on old local legends, such as the Dwarves’ Well at Wohnsgehaig, the treasure of Neubürg and the Giants’ Castle.

🧘 Forest Bathing

The farm is also a starting point for forest bathing – guided walks through the woods designed to help you slow down, sometimes incorporating meditation or yoga.
