• Dogs welcome; serves its own lemonades and home-brewed beer made to its own recipe.

• Traditional Franconian cuisine with hot dishes that change daily.
• Specialities: homemade snacks (including straw-fed pork), tarte flambée and grilled fish on Fridays (from 5 pm) – ‘Schwarze Küche’ – as well as Schäufele on Thursdays, pork knuckle on Saturdays, plus Spätzle with creamed mushrooms, vegetable stir-fry and curry.
• Suckling pig available by prior arrangement.
• There is also a rotating vegan dish on the menu.

Season: mid-March to the end of December; winter break: early January to mid-March. Hot meals served throughout until approximately one hour before closing time. Cash payments only.
