A brewery inn in the tourist centre of Franconian Switzerland, in Pottenstein. Situated right on the main road, in the heart of the village.
History
The privately-owned Mager Brewery Inn has been in the family since 1774 – making it one of the oldest brewery inns in Franconian Switzerland. Traditionally, the establishment has also served as the meeting place for the masons’ and carpenters’ guilds, as well as numerous local clubs.

Seasonal beers:
- St Bartholomew’s Day Beer – for the parish fair in the brewery courtyard
- Christmas beer – during Advent
Restaurant
Renowned for hearty Franconian cuisine: Schäuferle, homemade roulades, pork knuckle, pan-fried schnitzel with homemade potato salad. Cosy dining room and roof terrace, suitable for groups and club outings for up to 130 people.

- St Bartholomew’s Parish Fair – featuring our own St Bartholomew’s beer in the brewery courtyard (our own beer tent)
